Detox and preventive wellness

Panchakarma is Ayurveda's structured programme of preparation, procedures and recovery, traditionally taken with the change of seasons. Many people come to us for it when they are well, as preventive care.

What ‘detox’ means here

We use ‘detox’ in its Ayurvedic sense — Panchakarma as a programme of cleansing procedures and routine. We do not claim it removes specific toxins from the body in a medical sense, and we do not describe it as a cure for anything.

See a doctor straight away if you notice

  • Fainting or severe weakness during a programme
  • Persistent vomiting or diarrhoea
  • Chest pain or breathlessness
