Unani is a system of medicine with Greek and Arabic roots, recognised in India as one of the AYUSH systems. At Swasi it is practised through its regimental therapies — cupping in particular.
Unani at Swasi
- Hijama, or wet cupping — 7, 14 or 21–24 cups
- Fire cupping, or dry cupping
- Every session after examination and written consent, with sterile single-use cups
